As a photographer who prefers working on the street to find my subjects, and who lives in the suburbs, I must go where the action is. Shopping malls have replaced main street, so that's where the people are, and that's where I go.
Amid the hustle and bustle, people move about, some with a sense of purpose, while others just wander. And then there are those who work to stock the shelves or attract customers. Always there are those who wait on line to pay, and many more who are waiting for those who are waiting on line, and a few who are taking a break to rest their aching feet before launching back into the scrum.
