JESUS SAVES
The men you see in this and the other photos from this series are all working at becoming better versions of themselves. These photos were shot in 1982. I have no idea what happened to these men, but hopefully some went on to have happy and fulfilling lives.
Today, there are still men like them who are in the same situation. Like you and me, they are not perfect, and have had problems in their lives. However they have not given up. Some have family they would like to get back to. Some have no one. But all have taken responsibility for themselves, and for that, they are worthy of our compassion.
The photos in this series were shot in and around, and with permission from the Market Street Mission in Morristown, NJ, and with permission from each man in every photo.
