Amid the chaos of humanity waiting to cross 42nd & 8th in NYC during the evening rush to get home, a postal worker pauses to reflect, the burden of her work and the grind of life easily recognizable to anyone who has lived.
What she sees in her minds eye is opaque to us, but in her face perhaps, we see reflected back to us a bit of ourselves. What we bring to the experience of viewing a photograph is what we get out of it.
